Дымковская глиняная игрушка / Figurine "Hussar in a high ash hat on a horse"

The figure turned out to be high due to the high strong horse, on which the commander-in-chief of the regiment takes his place.

Among pottery toys it is not so often that this type of craft develops into an independent and fairly well-known craft. Haze is known precisely for its elegant toys, which are loved and popular around the world. Among these toys, new stories have long appeared, many genre scenes that reflect modern time, but masters also try to comply with historically established traditions. A hussar on horseback refers specifically to traditional haze images. The folk art craft “Dymkovo Toy” has the legal status of a creative public organization that is part of the All-Russian Creative Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia” (VTOO “SHR”).
